kitchen reno's
From January until 2 days before Keziah was born, we were slaving away on our kitchen (well, actually we're still working on it, but it mostly done). I thought it was about time that I share some pictures:
These pictures were taken right after the cabinets were put in, so in the shot above we are still missing the microwave over the oven (which was done not long after this picture was taken).
Along the back wall we put a little desk area for the computer (where I'm sitting right now). It's nice to have it in the kitchen. Also, in this picture you can see we still have cardboard taped down to protect the hardwood floors we installed. On Saturday June 16 we were finishing the floor in the dining room and on Monday, June 18 I had Keziah. Now finally we hope to finish the floor through the living room this weekend. Also, the little things like baseboards, paint touch ups, etc. have yet to be done. Sometimes those are the hardest to finish and end up never being done! I hope we get to it soon!
